This weeks featured mechanical equipment is the vintage Tucker Snow Cat. Pretty rugged rigs, eh? Made in Medford, Oregon.
Do they use a small gas engine to fire up the diesels?
Most of the engines have block heaters and oil heaters which are used too bring things up to temperature before starting.
Love to know if they were able to rescue this rig…?
Excellent work Jeff.
So, is it supposed to do that?
Its only job in life is to not fall into holes. So, yes, its supposed to do that. However, the operator may not have been doing what he/she should have been.
