My name is Jeff Lemery.  I got tired of working in cubicles and the grind so I took a break from my engineering  job and went to Alaska last summer working on an Americorps trail crew.  I came home and got another engineering  job and then felt like this:

So, I decided to go to Antarctica (as a result of a bit of luck, support, persistence and good timing) to continue my engineering career and keep the adventure going.  That’s what this site is about.   The work. The travel. The life.  The journey. The Dream.
